World Para Alpine Skiing and World Para Snowboard announce Race Directors

World Para Alpine Skiing and World Para Snowboard announced on Monday (16 July) the race directors for the 2018-19 season.

The race director is the authority representing World Para Alpine Skiing and World Para Snowboard at the World Cup events and the World Championships.

Following a review of the race director position and a more comprehensive and strategic assessment of the role, World Para Alpine Skiing appointed Anja Skutelj as the 2018-19 Race Director.

Skutelj has been involved in multiple roles with World Para Alpine Skiing and replaces Alison Bombardier in the new position.

World Para Alpine Skiing wishes to thank Bombardier for her exceptional services over the 2016-17 and 2017-18 seasons, and certainly anticipates that she will continue to play an important role in the ongoing evolution of Para alpine skiing.

World Para Snowboard announced Ted Martin as the 2018-19 Race Director. Martin returns for the new season following his successful work at the 2017-18 season in which he was instrumental for the growth of the sport.

Martin has also played an important role in the build-up of the World Para Snowboard competition structure.

World Para Snowboard welcomes Martin in his role for the 2018-19 season.
